  1. I wouldn't have said that, it could get you into some hot water.
  2. Still, one of my favs, this and a few Danny Video's get shown to my non-mtb friends and they are always impressed.
  3. What happened to the last land owner? I heard one property didn't want to sell/ allow it to move forward? @First Blood I think you said something like that.
  4. Hey @spicewookie/ @Fish_Lover_1963 whatever your going by these days. I'll be staying at the conference center north of PB this weekend. I will have a few hours of free time on Saturday and want to bring my bike out. Right now there is rain in the forecast for Thursday, what are the chances that the trails will be rideable by Sat? Does it drain better/ worse/ same than Brushy?
  5. Ha! I just watched this video last week (even though I don't have a tankless...)
  6. This weekend, AJ from the Peddler posted a picture of a bridge under construction for the BCRT. Where is this? My understanding was that it was the "Phase V" section on this map: https://www.roundrocktexas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Brushy-Creek-Trail1.pdf
  7. The whole trail will cross or be right on top of SN. The only part that isn't is the section between SN and Brushy where the new trail will stay along the creek.
  8. I have this issue regularly with Ankle Biter. I get PRs all the time when riding on the BCRT which parallels the trail, but on opposite sides of the creek! I ended-up making two new routes on the trail where their were none, I think that it worked.
  9. sub'd to get notified on when the updated Waivers are available. Curious as to the entrances. This weekend, I accessed it through a previously closed gate on the East'ish corner of the property. This is technically from SN but not the Northern entrance at the bottom of the jump lines. Is this ok?
  10. I was Strava-Stalking looking for new trails this weekend and saw some at this park. I have to drive through Brushy to Get there, is there anything worthwhile as far as singletrack? https://goo.gl/maps/5yn7FqjWz7CjfbJLA
  11. Did we ever settle on a name for this? I reference Boat Launch in another thread because I forgot all of the previously submitted names. @El Gringo, I think I saw you and your wife working on an impressive jump this weekend. Thanks for all of the work you've already put it. I enjoyed exploring a new area in my backyard, even if most of it is overground 2-track, it's still fun!
  12. I'm out on SN/Boat Launch testing fate!
  13. Here's an odd one. I ended up getting a brand new, never used, EMPTY, fire extinguisher from work. I planned on turning it into an air tank like the video below. But I won't. So it's up for grabs. https://youtu.be/KvESHWU7-j4
  14. That's the thing, there's no ROI for me right now. 8 Years of riding, 3 of them here and I've never had a flat.
  15. Free knock off chester pedals. Got these on Amazon knowing they wouldn't be as good as real Chester's. Spoiler: they aren't. I don't know much about pedals. But it seems that the axle wasn't tight enough when I got them and when I attempted to retighten they loosened up again mid-ride. I'm done messing around with them.
  16. Honestly, I think the biggest hangup for me is maintenance of the sealant itself. I only ride 3-4 times a month at best and when I go I rarely have much more time mess with checking/adding sealant if it's dried out. Maybe I'm making a bigger deal than it is but my heavy tubes aren't anything compared to the spare tire I carry around and I've yet to have a flat in 3 years of riding here. I know it's coming but that is why I carry a spare tube and pump.
  17. Recycling comes Monday so last call for this very important box that you totally can't get at any LBS.
  18. Confession Time: I have tubeless wheels, stems and sealant on hand but I'm still running tubes.
