  1. MIght roll by the south store today and check it out.
  2. My worst crash was becuase of the famous ardent "dead spot". Demo'd a tallboy LT back when i lived in NM and hit my usual trail, at my usual speeds and never had a tire wash out like those 2.2s did. Next thing I knew i was flying head first down the side of a hill. No thanks For here, at slow speed rock-bike riding, they are probably fine but i wont own one.
  3. BCGB sunday ride pic (complete with super-shitty JJ Abrams lens flare)
  4. My nobby nic 2.6x29 were around 840-850 and were closer to 775-800 after some trimming. Have a set lying around that id let go of for a deal
  5. Good review! Went once and rode the trail clockwise putting me on the wrong end of some steep climbs. I was also on my cross bike which was ZERO fun in all of that sand. I will say some of the views are nice and the facilities would be great for a family outing where you can do more than one thing while there. Otherwise, i drive past it every week and never give it a second thought.
  6. Thats pretty much what i did with the MM. The blocks are pretty tall and needs dirt to actually dig in and work. Pulled the NN and RR off my trailbike and installed a DHF and Griffin and it was a game changer in the loose stuff compared to the NN. I would have never hit the hill of life at the speed i did on my schwalbe combo. For the other 90% of the riding i do, the NN and RR are perfect. New HD looks like it might be a good compromise https://enduro-mtb.com/en/first-ride-review-schwalbe-hans-dampf-2018/
  7. This^ It just seems a bit chaotic and difficult to have a line of sight on your product. But hey, who doesn't love stepping over this???????
  8. defective debonair shaft seals causing air to migrate to lower leg until enogh pressure is built up to blow the seal out. Reinstalled an old shaft i bought in 2015 and it had zero issues.
  9. People should be publicly mocked and ridiculed for riding those things. The 21st century equivalent to the rollerblade
  10. X2 on the nobby nic. I have some almost new 2.6 and 2.35s lying around
  11. Have some 29er tire that im not using. Some free as well
  12. sorry man, went out to load up and found the fork had blown the seal out (again). In the midst of trying to repair it, and the resulting temper tantrum, i forgot to give you a heads up. cause i like to party
  13. Hiil of life, lost creek and forgot the name of the techy trail that gets you back up the HOL were nice saturday. HOL, was a little busy but you could still go as fast as you dared.
  14. Slaughter was AMAZING today. Super tacky dirt in the wooded areas but not enough to stick to your tires........the kind of weather and trail conditions we wait months for.
  15. Looks like it was recorded on a potato, but gawd damn those SGs!
  16. DAT gap.......... Remember him posting this a ways back and being absolutely speechless
  17. Cool Gonna give this another try but with some real tires this time.
  18. I use all mountain style on my carbon bikes. Fits reasonably well, does a basic job of protecting from scratches. You can get it from jenson and worldwide ETC for a pretty good price. Buy XL kits for small/med frames and XXL for large frames. Nice bike BTW. https://www.allmountainstyle.com/
  19. Have to thank transition bikes for turning me onto these guys in one of their vids
  20. Keepin' it local on this one
  21. The one on south lamar was always a ghost town. I'm keeping my eyes on performance and nashbars sites for some pricepoint.com-esq deals.
