  1. It's one of these. Blotched water snake.
  2. I thought that I might be faster on my hardtail but after trying it I was actually a minute slower then on my full squish.
  3. I like Ergon grips because they have just enough texture to give you good grip but not so much texture that they cause hot spots on your hands. I've been rocking the GA3's for a while now and really like them. Was running the GE1's before those. The GA3's have just a small wing on the end giving plenty of support to the heel of your hand.
  4. Upgradeitis is very common among people who have been riding for some time. Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to upgrade your bike. One thing to keep in mind when upgrading an older bike is to try and purchase upgrades that can swapped over to a newer bike should you get a case of new bikeitis😁
  5. In case you didn't like the first video
  6. What bike is your friends that you rode? Is it a Scout like yours with better suspension components or is it a different bike? A different bike with a different suspension curve will have a completely different feel than yours does. Like previously posted play with your suspension settings to see what feels good and what doesn't many times just taking some time to tune your suspension will give you bigger benefits than you would think.
  7. Rode PP yesterday. Ditched flat pedals for clipless and also ditched hydration pack for water bottle. Shaved 40 seconds off my best time.
  8. Set your suspension up to what feels right to your body frequency. Front and rear should feel the same when you stand on your pedals and bounce your bike. This a good article explaining initial set up. https://www.shockcraft.co.nz/technical-support/setup-guide
  9. Just an inquiry, but being as this is not a Strava race when someone needs to pass another rider do we yell “full gas” or just make fart noises?
  10. Thanks for the offer this is my number 576072. USAC responded that all I need is my receipts and I’m good to go.
  11. Has anyone had any trouble on the USAC website obtaining a ride authorization? I bought the one day license and the registration but it won't let me print a ride authorization. I've contacted USAC waiting for response.
  12. I've been thinking about this. Maybe there should be another race set upon for gravel bikes on PP. The trail would be easy enough to do on a gravel bike.
  13. I have a couple pairs of GE1's if you want to borrow.
  14. Went out on gravel bike yesterday around 3:30-4:00. Even the granite sections exposed to the sun were really soft, no standing water but noticeably soft. Also noticed muddy tire tracks and clumps of mud coming from some of the trail exit/entrances. Some people always think they know best or just don't GAF.

  16. The two times I've ridden with the new improvements I wasn't pushing just to get used to the trail, but times weren't too far off from best. It's much easier to maintain momentum without as much effort as before. Been trying to rebuild my endurance by riding gravel bike. We'll see this weekend weather permitting🤞

    Ditchweed😂 That's a term I haven't heard in a long time!
  19. I've only ridden the newly groomed section once. I think KOM did a great job with the trail. No offense to Ronan, he put a lot of sweat equity into making the trail as fun as possible but there is only so much that can be done by hand when building a trail like this one. The original berms were banked too steeply and a bit sharp when cornering. There were drainage issues everywhere as First blood pointed out, what KOM did is really smart as far as I see just from a common sense standpoint, the trail now almost seems to be raised above the surrounding terrain because they dug out the sides of the trail to allow water to drain away instead of just sitting there. There is so much rock in this area it's insane. If you were to try and eliminate all the rock you'd need to bring in dirt to replace all the rocks you removed, I know this because my yard is exactly the same terrain as brushy. I've planted trees in my yard and filled the three gallon pot the tree came in with the rock I removed to dig the hole. Regardless of how anyone might feel about the new section of trail I personally like it and give a big thanks to Ronan, KOM, and the city for building and allowing this trail in our area.

My 8 year old husky has epileptic seizures he started getting them about three years ago. First time frightened me to death I thought he was dying. Took him to the vet and the vet prescribed phenobarbital, the stuff made kinda insane so I took him off of it. We got a puppy and for about a year no seizures until about a month ago he had two major seizures in the same day. I did some research on CBD and decided to give it a try. So far so good it has actually calmed him down quite a bit, he used go nuts whenever someone would come home now he's just happy to see us. So after trying it with my dog I suggested it to my wife for her severe arthritis and ordered a sample pack, she loves it and says it make a big difference. This is where I get mine from after researching it a bit the most affordable organic CBD I found. https://www.lazarusnaturals.com I'll take mine in vape or smoke form thank you😉
  21. A Gaboon viper, the second is a Rhino viper same family.
  22. Snakes are masters of camouflage. Hard to believe a snake that's colored like this can hide so well. We're very fortunate not to have anything like this around here. 2" fangs that can easily pierce a leather boot not to mention a massive dose of venom. One of the most beautiful snakes I've ever gotten to see up close and personal. He's in here somewhere.
  23. Can't wait to see what's been done. Unfortunately work is getting in the way for a while now. Some of the exits of the berms on the original trail seemed to always have a tree right at the exit point so if that's been corrected this trail should be tits!
