So when there are posted meetups for places like Brushy , like the Thursday night rides like tonight, can it be communicated to them to maybe not do their scheduled meetup? I would like to assume that whoever was responsible would cancel or postpone according to conditions. Spoke to buddy today from the UK and asked him how they deal with all the rain and it the damage to trails when people ride when it is rainy or wet. Simple, there are essentially 2 types of trails you can ride. Bridleways , which are for horses. Anywhere there are BW trails there are of course horses which rip the hell out of trails. But you can ride , knowing they are rutted as hell. The other type is club trails or parks. You pay a fee and ride. The fees cover maintenance of those trails. So you can ride those trails no matter the weather. The trails are maintained by whoever owns them. You can ride all year no matter what. There is not really an issue with Bandit trails. I swear that when work gets bad and frustrating, I literally hear circus music. A buddy of mine used to keep a shorcut on his laptop and when the shit hit the fan or someone did something real stupid he would click on that and play it. Now it is a mental thing for me and so stupid actions trigger circus music in my head.
