  1. Please post the complete bike when you build is done! Looks like a fun project!!
  2. Nice work! Thanks HB and all that helped!
  3. Just found this website and looks like they sale some factory blemished stuff and was wondering if anyone has bought from them with or without success?
  4. I’m ok with B-lines if the trail steward designs these in, but rando dudes adding them in is not ok!!!! You can’t responsibly or feasibly add a line for all skill levels everywhere or every trail would turn into a parking lot!
  5. Ok, should have read the article before the comment
  6. Are you talking about the tax on fishing and hunting sales that go to Texas parks and wildlife or is this a different tax?
  7. Just got done with a quick ride why my kids were napping. snail, rim and double down, west half of picnic were GTG! For the temperatures being perfect, was surprised to only see two other riders on the trail. Passed quite a few trail runners though.
  8. Thanks, that’s what I was thinking, may roll the regional trail or (I’m getting sick of doing this) jump on the road bike😢
  9. Any trail reports? Storm blew through my neighborhood around 11 last night, but not sure how much rain. I’ll go check it out around 9:30 if I don’t see anything before then
  10. I look forward to your report! If conditions are good, I may try to get a night ride in!
  11. I’ve only been here 7 falls, but I can’t remember any being this bad! I’ve also had a lot of concussions from mountain biking so you can’t trust my memory!
  12. Go the local shops and pay for service!
  13. Most online bikes these days come 90% pre assembled! I gambled and bought my first online mountain bike 2 years ago and had little to no mechanic experience and put the last 10% together in about 45minutes (I think it would take a experienced mechanic less than 10minutes), then it took me about another hour to correctly set up my sag on my fork and shock by watching the manufacturers videos ( again experienced bike mechanic less than 10 minutes). But Definitely worth it! Between park tools and GMBN you tube channels I have now have learned how to completely disassemble my bike a rebuild it, minus my yearly fork complete overhaul!
  14. Talk with honey badger or first blood. I don’t think wood features are a no no, I think it’s more getting someone to fund the resources! Example being the wood ramp coming off nargasm needs to be replaced but no one is jumping to offer up $300+ in supplies to fix it!
  15. If I had a higher paying job and was in the market for a premium hard tail this would be at the top of my list!
  16. I like to jib my friends from Cali, and have no problems with the people! Just don't care for their politics.
  17. Sounds like this neighbor is an invasive species from the west coast!😁
