  1. Thought I'd give the west end a try since it drys before the rest of the trail, but it needs another day or so. Twin Lakes and Snail, it was slick but no pick-up until the creek bottom of Snail.

  3. This is my MonsterTour. To the extent that I ride non-trails, this is the bike that get the duty these days, gravel or road. I also enjoy this bike on trails, like Walnut, 1/4 Notch, and Double Down...but my wrists hate me for it, so it does not happen often. This bike also has set of 26x4.8 wheels/tires (it is a fat bike frame, after all), but I haven't had them on since I put these 29er Ikons on it.

  4. I take these things for what they are and try not to dissect them too much. However, I get annoyed when they make it look like he's blasting at 100% the entire time. I like the edits that make it look like this was just a normal ride that this super-human rider did on a normal bike. There's just no getting past the fact that these riders are awesome at what they do. Not only that but they know how to attempt something, fail, not get hurt, and try again until they get it. That's cool when you consider if they get hurt, it could mean their career.

  6. You're definitely not the only one around here who has sex with strangers for sock money.

  7. 100% this. Also Seth's Diamondback sponsorship was smart as well.

  8. He does have at least a little bit of suspension with that fork, but yeah...pay attention to his hand positioning. Some of those maneuvers are done with him riding in the drops. I'm also having sock envy a little bit.

  9. AJ will adjust the trail as needed. The Parks director is ok with the mtb trails staying or adjusting around the concrete trail. I see this trail as a huge benefit to the Brushy Creek Single Track, we'll no longer have to ride through a neighborhood to get from SN to the rest of Brushy, how cool is that.
