  1. From what I can tell it's the electronic shock/fork. Basically like the Scott Brain of the 23rd century.
  2. I really thought that went without saying...
  3. Yes, it seems that even if I've ignored a topic in a section and it gets new posts I won't see it but the forum section will show as unread.
  4. Have you considered a kids bike trailer? 50-100 gets you a nice one.
  5. I think a 27.5 on a 26r frame or 29 on a 27.5, is a pretty good idea. Thanks @Shinerider. I won't be at R&I tonight but I live right in the middle of your commute. I'll PM you and see if we can't find an easy meetup location. As far as progress, I ended up swapping forks/wheels last night after measuring the crown to axle which was close enough for me. Unfortunately, I need to figure out my bearing cups because the 26" fork didn't assemble right, it's too tight when clamping the star nut. the 26" frame uses sealed bearings and the 27.5 uses loose bearings. It was enough for me to sit on it, but no way to trail ride it for now.
  6. ISO: 27.5 front wheel/tire to borrow for a test fit. Must have 15mm axle (Non-boost 100mm spacing). I could even make do without a tire. I want to see if I can put my 26r Talas from my FS on my HT. I already know that I can just move the whole sh'bang over but I want to see if I can do it with a 27.5 wheel/tire combo. Internets say probably/maybe. Don't judge, sometimes I just need to see it fail to give up on an idea.
  7. For those with light backgrounds, the dark background users look like this: Opposite is this:
  8. If you are tired of this: Kali’s most popular enduro-style half-shell just got a whole lot better, thanks to the addition of a Low Density Layer (LDL) Or this: My fault. I wouldn't want to mix you up with that scoundrel Davis Green I hear he wears lycra and goes slow. You have two options: Click this button in the bottom of the new thread text box window after pasting your text. o OR copy your text into a blank notepad document and re-copy and paste it into the new thread text box.
  9. Never heard of that feature. Does it require payment to a regular service?
  10. Good! I thought I was going crazy the last time I went through there because it was at like a 45° and I could have sworn I used to have no issues crossing the bridge before. I actually mentioned it to AJ at the Peddler last weekend because he said he had recently cable tied the bridge the tree roots. He said he would take a look at it, you know in between running a great bike shop and building up SN.
  11. I love my GPS, that said, I haven't touched it in almost 2 years since learning the local trails. I also love my 26r with 1x11 that replaced my 2x9 setup. Mostly because the 2x9 was SUPER sacked and janky. I really do like the simplicity of up or down. I'd say if you like getting your self into situations were you get lost (I do) and you are already sufficient at picking the right fwd cog then go for the GPS. If your 3x9 is worn out jump for a 1x10 or 1x11. I bet with the recent 1x12 Shimano release the 1x10 and 11s will be marked down.
  12. Rocks you say?! I've got your rocks!
  13. A few of them will do that, even shake their tail and hiss in a way that sounds like rattling. Tricky buggers.
  14. Probably sourced from go-kart tires. I doubt that the OW market developed their own rubber.
  15. https://photos.app.goo.gl/bTUNHztAYMeXPZZD8 A variety of local trails including, Gumdrop , Suburban Ninja, BCRT, Candyland, etc.
  16. These puns are so bad y'all must have gotten them on shale.
  17. So I am tearing out a defunct firepit in my backyard. Half of the rocks are just sitting with no mortar/concrete and half are in the wall. All are 6"-10“ Any need for trail building/ low spot repair?
  18. It wood be though if it was made from old bike frames.
  19. Interested in what you came up with. I've been tempted as I've had a few pedal gashes from flats myself.
  20. I thought we Transitioned Treked off of this topic?
