  1. 100% truth. Was able to stop into the National Museum of African American History in DC last summer, and they had a whole floor dedicated to musicians. Place is a must see for sure.
  2. Dude, it gets way more intense than that. I'll have to tell you over a beer sometime.
  3. My youngest was born with a leaky valve and had to do invasive at 13 to repair it. I can totally relate to what you're going through man. Birthday vibes headed your way from dirty south austin😎
  4. F@cking hell man! I'm having a panic attack just reading "lights out".....but stoked that you here and still here typing it. Hang in there Thomas. Real Ale on us when you are ready.
  5. Have a buddy like you. Went to moab and did captain ahab on his rigid SS. Why, ill never know but thats what makes him happy. Took him to the lift bike park in NM a month later and he broke his leg within 5 minutes of riding.
  6. If i were able to blow big cash on an e-bike, I'd buy one of these, make it as stealth as possible and just play dumb.
  7. We were riding peddlers pass sunday and got to the multiple burm/roller secions and were moving pretty fast. I hear somebody come up on my wheel saying they want to get by and i thought, where the hell did he come from(?) We let him by only to see a middle aged, not in shape guy on an ebike, complete with coilspring shock......lolz

  9. https://www.nationalmtb.org/ I thinks she's too old if she's in college. No worries Yes, the fork weight is awful. I had two of those things at one point........steel steerer tube and all You might check her current saddle height to see if the 125mm will fit https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/brand-x-ascend-ii-105-125-150mm-dropper-seatpost/rp-prod159176
  10. this x2 been through that trying to upgrade a entry level bike for my kid and it was a process of diminishing returns. If she's not being hindered by the fork, id leave it unless you find a really, really, really good deal on a used fork. Do not buy new As others have said, Id go dropper. It'll help build her skillset more than any other upgrade for the money. Brand X from chain reaction has some of the most reliable droppers for the money, and offer external routing. At 30.9 you can use it in something else later P.S. Is she in NICA?
  11. Looks awesome but gonna be in AR for DH. Rode peddlers pass this past Sunday, first time since it was built a couple of years ago. Damn, nicely done out there. The flow is so much better and super fun!
  12. Dude, you're in your mid-late 50s🙄
  13. Not sure how much i miss that
  14. Oh damn man. Sorry youre on the wrong end of that one. Good vibes headed your way
  15. Think the guy that won one of the age groups at bandera was on a HT, without a dropper. I remember seeing him ride up the connector to the big hill while i was pushing my bike. Dude was an animal.
  16. So what you're saying is, as long as you don't take that dogshit to the UK, you're safe?
  17. i think those might actually be aluminum nipples. lemme know if you need more. i probably have a box of spares
  18. So this bike was less than 10 years old at the time of theft?
  19. At least you never have to worry about your bike getting stolen.
