  1. The free hubs may look the same but the shoulder where the cassette makes contact on the free hub may be different heights. I only know this because of the Hope hubs I have on my HT. The Hope hubs require a spacer behind the cassette for 10/11 speed Shimano to get the correct spacing. I have an extra spacer I'll let you have if you're interested.
  2. But...what about Chris Squire?
  3. I personally always go a gear higher then I think I need.
  4. I think we're all safe on this one. I don't know a single person running a Rotor drivetrain. They're the company that makes a hydraulic shift system. Oh great something else that needs to be bled.
  5. Oh and back on thread topic. The sweet spot for any gear ratio is the one that feels best to you for your style of riding. Biomechanics plays a bigger part in what gear ratio is right for you than a gear ratio calculator does. Also the difference between 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 speed is not so much the ratio itself but the closeness of ratios making shift jumps smaller therefore making the amount of effort to spin those gears easier. More gears creates more sweet spots for a broader range of riders.
  6. Well that looks fantastic! Yet another company trying to make proprietary bullshit that will be impossible to service and also be absolutely non future proof. That shock looks like an absolute nightmare being built into the rear triangle like that. well done Trek! Taking cues from Cannondale are you? Oh BTW two manufacturers of bikes I'd never buy.
  7. The old AR XB turntable. I had one of those. They were pretty good for their time. I've got a B&O kicking around that hasn't been used in sometime thanks to digital.
  8. Found a pair of sunglasses today at Dub Step. If you lost a pair PM me a description and we can figure how to get them back to you.
  9. Tastes like a malty Margarita. Pretty good, but for me that's a one beer beer. Flavor gets a bit overwhelming.
  10. Fortunately I haven't been injured, but with all the humidity I've been riding my gravel bike everyday for the last 30days doing 20miles a day. The fitness level is night and day. Good luck to all of you injured riders and keep in mind the only thing you're missing right now is HEAT AND HUMIDITY.
  11. If you've got a gravel or road bike doing some light spinning on a hike and bike might help you get there a little quicker.
  12. Saw these guys open for Les Claypool. Really good. Along the same genre.
  13. I paid $110 for my dropper when I bought it so another $70 for a good lever was well worth it. When It dies I'll buy another and attach it to the Wolftooth lever.
  14. I have a Brand X on both of my bikes. The one on my FS has been two years now with no issues at all. The only thing I've done is put a Wolftooth remote onto it. I recently rode a rental with a Bikeyoke dropper and was not impressed. The lever was a bit on the cheap side for such a pricey dropper it also had quite a bit of stiction and was slower than my Brand X at returning to height.
  15. Oh it's been much longer than that🤣
  16. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi X Alp Summits that are really comfortable that I use for my gravel bike. At $140 direct from Pearl Izumi not too bad on price. They also have a nice grippy Vibram sole on them for the occasional hike a bike.😉 https://www.pearlizumi.com/US/en/shop/men/cycling-shoes/mountain/mens_x-alp_summit/p/15101809
  17. You know how you can tell someone rides a single speed...they'll tell you😂
  18. Between the extra long leashes and people with full headphones on even navigating the hike and bike at Brushy can be a real challenge. Oh and lets not forget the middle/high school track and field teams that literally take up the whole pathway and don't move or when they do move it's right in front of you. And by the way "GET OFF MY LAWN YOU KIDS"!
  19. I've had good luck with them. Late response been goon for ten days.
  20. If these are shoes and pedals that you have been using without any issues and now have issues it could be a long term overuse/fit issue that is now just showing itself. Like what Throet said try using some flats and see if the problem recedes if so then you know it's most likely shoes. Also shoes will start to break down over time and need to be replaced. I had a pair of road shoes that I had a similar issue with they were fine until one day I started getting hot spots on the ball of my foot, turns out I drove the cleat bolts up through the foot bed of the shoe and these were not cheap shoes $300 Time carbon shoes.
  21. Sounds like we need a speak easy door somewhere on the trail😝
