  1. Just sold two bikes at the frankenbike this past weekend at Buck's bikes.
  2. Nah. Start at my house. Ride to the YMCA, go down snail (skip the YMCA trail), Dave's ditch (or maybe just up to the start of rimjob), rimjob w->e, then picnic X/picnic w->e to meet with friends at skatepark, or if alone, deception w->e, then mulligan if feeling it. peddler's if giving a shit, then either picnic e->w or deception e->w, rimjob e->w then home. If meeting friends - above, but then wander over to suburban ninja, have a beer at redhorn, then gumdrop back to parking lot and then over to brooklyn heights for more beer and wings/pizza.
  3. "Sequence". Funny. All spots along the trail head(s) are safe to park. YMCA is safest for afternoon/evening parking.
  4. Jerky Hammer watching and checking calendar.
  5. Awesome barely used BMX bike https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-mongoose-bmx-trick-bike/6819756652.html
  6. We did the same and more. Found Suburban ninja to round out the ride with mid ride beer at Redhorn. Best way to spend valentine's day.
  7. WhooHoo. And i saw all the flags on the south side of the road heading towards the last road bridge intersection. Looks like they might be putting in a small parking lot where the ranch fence is under Creek Bend Blvd bridge.
  8. Holey shit the rain is driving ya'll bat shit crazy.
  9. Hell, mine was $75. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Agree with that assessment. Spidermountain front splash screen is the same view as thunderbird from lake overtop the resort looking at the hill. Now it is looking like a much better investment - skiing, biking, adventure central. And the fam can come and enjoy while I bike!
  11. And the fact that Rockshox is putting out a wireless dropper post is kinda cool too.
  12. I know of at least one person who has the Shimano DiS version on a road bike and absolutely loves how it functions. It auto-steps gear ratios between front and back derailleurs.
  13. Yeah, I talked about them in the Brushy creek muddy/trails thread. On how to help inform of trail conditions. They have a physical sign at each trail which can be flipped from open to closed and references the website for info.
  14. And cables, housings, etc. Maskoff tape be damned!
  15. WTF have you done? Never seen such an extensive rattlecan paintjob. And they are touting about having quality bikes for kids to start! Even the brake pads are painted! https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-fuji-road-bike-for-kids-with/6808240511.html
  16. Well, glad we got a ride in! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. That is exactly what was at the trailhead - a wooden sign that could be moved from open to closed. But there are quite a few trailheads. Maybe keep it to the ones that are more prone to get soggy. Just thinking.
  18. Obviously from Europe - the brakes are "moto style"!
  19. I think its a fun cruise on the singlespeed without having to worry about technical features.
  20. No. The trail that I hit when I'm at the in laws (rowlett creek), the parking lot was open , but the wooden sign at the trail head noted that the trails were closed. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. The Dallas club has signage at each trailhead that notes if the trail is open or closed to the public with large signage and posts conditions continuously on DORBA.org. Would be difficult at trails like WC and Brushy, but might be worth a thought.
