  1. I think you are pretty safe adding Public Enemy #1.
  2. Back in the 3x8 and 3x9 days... a few times a year for sure. 1X12 - once in 5000 miles so far (I think it was a fluke).
  3. 9 years, so you must have started tubeless? Back in the tube days it was a regular occurrence, I don't miss that shit one bit.
  4. OTBS - Been a while since I grilled twice in one day. Bone-in pork chops for a Vietnamese vermicelli noodle bowl for lunch and marinated chicken, corn on the cob and bell peppers for dinner (along with an avocado salad).
  5. The last thing we need is to promote the trails on the news. I think you are much more likely just to get more newbs than change anyone's behavior. If anything, steer it towards guidelines in general that would apply to the hike and bike trail, streets, etc. as opposed to trying to highlight how great our trails are. They have already been pimped out to the max.
  6. I carry this every ride. I wouldn't hit the Colorado Trail with it, but I will ride the local trails. I have tried at least a dozen pumps over the decades including several Lezynes and it seems cheapies always ending working out the best for me. https://www.rei.com/product/784569/topeak-peak-master-blaster-dx-ii-mini-pump?CAWELAID=120217890000881379&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15877513840&CATCI=pla-552765540870&cm_mmc=PLA_Google&product_id=7845690010&ad_type=pla&channel=online&partition_id=552765540870&target_id=pla-552765540870&brand_flag=&adgroup_id=15877513840&campaign_id=183267160&location_physical=9028293&cid=53280763000&network=g&network_type=search&device_type=c&merchant_id=1209243&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjb3q_IL66AIVxwiICR25SQkbEAQYASABEgKiwPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  7. If size and weight are not a concern the Morph pumps from Topeak are hard to beat. I rarely carry this anymore (I rarely wear a camelback) but would bring it on backcountry rides (think Colorado) or if I had a new tubeless setup or sketchy ongoing tubeless issue. It basically folds into a mini floor pump and you can pump a tire (repeatedly if necessary) without wearing yourself out too bad. I have even used it to seat new tubeless installs (albeit pretty straightforward rim/tire combinations). https://planetcyclery.com/topeak-mountain-morph-frame-pump-pu1732?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-P3Mrf_56AIVRj0MCh0jwg-EEAQYAiABEgJ7kPD_BwE
  8. I think that looks is "It won't be long before I can drop your ass Pops"
  9. Me too. Pretty sure I have seen at least one of you guys out there recently. If I see you I will say hi (from a distance - HA!). Usually on a black/blue Epic.
  10. Very sorry to hear this Antonio. Things are difficult enough right now without having to deal with loss of a loved one. My thoughts are with you all.
  11. Since we are already on a publicity campaign for Caddyshack and the like. What is the consensus on the lines people keep riding that drop straight to the BCRT? There is one right at the foot of the dam spillway and another 100 yards or so to the East. I have blocked them numerous times. I think someone may end up rolling into a walker or perhaps more importantly I think the less traffic up there the better. There are definitely some high penalty for error spots and it is NOT beginner friendly at all.
  12. https://www.kvue.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/north-by-northwest-brewpub-closed-permanently-coronavirus/269-9052951d-6f0e-4ca3-b5b9-29cfe1cc86e2 Big loss. They had some good brews, and some good food. Zombie Dragon and Blackjack were two of my favorites. I got slappy at many an Oktoberfest too. The owner is a roadie and has done a lot for cycling in the community. I suspect there will be a lot of other places on my rotation that do not make it to the other side. 😞
  13. Cool Cat. Is that Stumpy?
  14. Where is this? North Carolina or something?
  15. Ahh yes. I stopped by there a couple times. Decent place. I did also see it was for sale. Hope they can make it after all. .
  16. Which one are you referring to? And in case anyone isn't aware Karbach = Anheuser Busch
  17. I just had a flashback. I remember joining you guys for a GUMBO ride maybe 15+ years ago. I don't suppose that is still a thing? LOL
  18. MIL toss out your skillet?
  19. Just got a quick lunchtime hour-long ride at the little trail system closest to my house. The weather was rapidly changing.
  20. This. I was on Rim about 10:00 and the 3 little g-outs were slick AF. I walked (I usually don't ever walk anything) the last one going W to E and I honestly wasn't sure I was going to be able to get me and my body up that slick 3' or so rock face. I almost turned around, but was able to barely use a tree as a handrail. I think things have gotten progessively worse all week.
