  1. I actually dont care if someone does not wear a helmet. That is totally their problem. I'll do me. They do them. If they get hurt. Meh Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. Hey.. I know you have a deal with that shop but my two worthless cents would be at least get a second opinion on that situation from another shop. I sure as heck wouldn't want to ride with the possibility of a crank arm coming off mid ride. It will not happen next to your Jeep and may cause you some sort of injury. Worth a try man Btw.. good seeing ya.. fun ride! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. I would message Seth and he has a buddy that does carbon repair. I'm pretty sure I recall that correctly Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. Not for nothing there are more "entry points" just go the right direction. Example.. enter at the concrete sidewalk by BC road and just go left .. same correct direction Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Those flags guided me nicely today. Too many turns and intersections and terrain that looks exactly the same in that little area. Shit man, look at my Strava, I've had some big mileage and never left that little area. I've gotten all lost in there a couple times. The more I ride there the better I recognize the trails and turns. But from Peddler following the blue flagging took me fast and true to where I ran into you that day. Now on the way back I did get twisted up a little but backtracked back to my truck more easily. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. YES! Trimmed up nice. And finally well marked with Blue flagging. (Still can be better marked) but yes night and day different from when it was a jungle. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Yea last Friday was nasty. I was on 1/4 and had the flash of a headache come on then rapidly disappear. I'm no fool and called it a day. I was lethargic the rest of the afternoon. Likewise I was heavily hydrated but have learned from past mistakes to now recognize when to bail on a ride Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Yea the rocks are real noticeable on PP as well. I rode Suburban Ninja and couple laps around Candyland/Gnargasm this AM. Crazy nice. Since SN has been trimmed and marked it is sweet as always. Still got turned around though Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. For sure West to East. For me it is the uninterrupted flow which equals more fun and alot quicker. I go up the bailout and then straight. I would not worry about pissing anyone off who comes the E to W way.. that trail is meant to be both ways. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. I've riding almost daily at BC. Rode this evening and was pretty surprised at the amount of loose rocks in the trail. It was as if someone placed hundreds of rocks on the trails. I know it's because of the weather being drier and the ground somehow births rocks and rocks come loose but damn there are tons of rockage. And the weather was amazing Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. So is that like a One Wheel starter version? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  14. Seth thanks very much , that did the trick in no time. I got her all cleaned and lubed and running like butter. Appreciate it Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. On my Intense I have the Raceface Next r Cranks. I want to pull these to clean and lube and have the 8MM and 16MM tool but apparently need a crank puller? After reading and watching videos looks like I may need to get a Park CCP-44 tool to pull the drive side arm off. Can anyone verify this please?
  16. Never ceases to amaze me how topics just segue into the oddest diversions you dont see coming Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  18. Tonight walking the big hound we saw two guys on their OW in our hood (Rattan Creek) in North Austin. Saw them the other evening as well. Maybe part of your crew? I wanted to chat them up but wasn't possible Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. Ive had numerous bikes over the last 30 years of riding (holy shit that doesnt seem possible 😞 ) The ones Ive regretted is where I bought the bike and thought I'd adapt to a frame geo or size and over time that bike turned out to be one that wasnt so good for me. Might have been a good deal money wise but not riding wise. So wont compromise any more on frame size or geometry. Same with fork,, I dont need to latest greatest or very best but they are so pricey that I try and buy with a nicely specd fork or shock. I know how I like the cockpit setup and those parts are affordable and easy to come by so doesnt matter to much to me as Ill end up swapping bars and drivechain out Brakes must not be SRAM , has to be XTs or SLX , Shifting must not be Shimano, must be SRAM but easy to buy and swap.. Dont care about cranks, pedals. Stems and bars , dont care because I have enough laying around that I like. When I feel the itch to buy I just change things around a bit and that scratches the need
  20. Exactly why I cant ride there anymore Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. Hey T sorry to hear this. On the bright side though, this is not your favorite time of year to ride.
