  1. I had the shiner octoberfest yesterday its pretty good..and just picked these up at twin liquors..fistful of bourbon on sale for 20 right now and I usually don't spend 20 on wine but when I do Brady is one of them ..out of California but owner is from hill country and says land is similar so played Bluebonnet homage Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for the feedback..while riding today I tried to pay attention more on what could help with more adjustments. I'll say that moving my levers helped but could probably move them more...and being more aware of putting my weight on my feet instead of hands has helped a lot. My hands used to fall asleep on me a lot more than now. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  3. I have not tried rotating the bars bit I did reposition levers and seemed to help a little Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  4. I feel like my wrist are a little too inward or the bar is too straight..im assuming I need to change my backsweep..here's the specs of what I got know.. Specialized Trail, 6061 alloy, 27mm rise, 780mm width, 8[degrees] backsweep, 6[degrees] upsweep, 31.8mm diameter I think about a 1/4" turn of my wrist outward would be good.. Let me know yalls thoughts thanks.. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  5. When I went to cedar breaks the other day the gate was open and no one was manning the booth Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  6. Lots of uniballers out..I hope yall don't mind I blocked a b-line on severe consequences loop..im sure they moved it already. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  7. Rode cedar breaks to spring and back...the trail was in good condition, high grass by the lake of course so wear long sleeves and pull your socks up if you don't want to get itchy .. still haven't cleared the climb up to cliffs its a doosey...only saw a few teenagers there and back definitely better than the weekend traffic wise Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  8. Couple things I was thinking on ride today.. YMCA has got to be one of the tougher greens. And on double down, at what point is it considered a passing grade ..would getting off your bike less than 10 times over the 3mile be considered a C- ...that was my goal and I dismounted 10 times with 2 dabs so I called it 11. I'll tuck my head and kick my bike back over to walnut creek... Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  9. The codgeris ol' bastard strikes again .. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  10. Any clarification on this..I didn't know theX personally but he was pretty active on here and thought it would be cool to ride with him sometime.. I hadn't seen anything in other posts to suggest an exit..I figured with what he added to this forum people would ask more questions ..I haven't been here long but always liked his posts sorry to see you go X Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk

  16. No sketchy drives on our route but we flew in to Denver and just hit 70 over to Glenwood springs and stayed in Carbondale...both cool little towns by the way Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  17. Heres a pic of near the top of sky mountain ...you can tell the difference in dirt and plants...its wild how that area can have mountains of red, green and brown all next to each other. Carbondale looked to have some nice trails on a red mountain i didn't check those out though. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  18. I just got back from there yesterday, rented a stumpy from aspen bikes downtown and with no way to tow bike we just rode the two mountains by rental...smugglers mountain and sky mountain. I know you like to climb since your with Barry and smugglers is a climbers dream.. You can park at the base of smugglers and begin the 3mile accent to top, it was brutal for me and took an hour, I don't like climbing or cardio ha. Once at the top which is around 9k feet there is some sweet trails with nice techy flow and big aspen trees ..I liked tootsie roll and lollipop trails the best. Around the lake at top of smugglers its more open and grassy I didn't explore much on that side. There is a cool river crossing and an old mining house to check out. We took hunter creek trail on the way down, lots of hikers, and hit the only rock garden on whole trip. It was a fun downhill. After lunch we hit up sky mountain...you can park near base there too across from airport. It was about a 2mile climb up airline trail but smoother dirt and less crowded with tighter switchbacks on the way up. Easier climb than smugglers but still tough. At this point I was pretty smoked so just turned back and bombed down Airline..that was the best downhill..so damn fun. It was more brushy with sage and dusty on sky mountain and seemed like would be more flow trail from what I could see at the top. The two mountains had totally different scenery. Pics all from smugglers.. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk

  20. I'd ride an ebike..never have but rode with guys that did..seems fun..if your going fast still takes skill to maneuver the trail at speed..just cause your on an ebike still doesn't mean you're Barry or wlemke fast on a trail Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  21. Government and wokeness is the new religion, flat pedals are awesome.. bigger the better, national debt obviously does not mean anything...print it baby Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk

  24. I read an article investment firms are buying up whole neighborhoods from builders and keeping them as rentals... private ownership and Independence is becoming harder to reach... social welfare programs for All Is The New Normal.. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
  25. Check out Blanco river, just need to find deep spots...lots of rivers around here but most get pretty shallow in spots..attach a rope so you can pull the yak behind you when hiking shallow spots Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk
