We will be having an ARR Brushy Workday tomorrow to clear the remainder of trouble areas. We’ll be meeting at Rutledge Elementary school at 10AM and then will split off into groups as necessary.
Bring: Water, gloves, loppers. If you have a chainsaw feel free to bring it.
I mean, I’m not on any race team or anything, but I was pretty sure I was correct. :P …I have done HOL repeats in the past. The hikers give you plenty of patronizing feel-good comments on the way up. Strangely, not as many comments on the way down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was my understanding that “Enduro” is basically a down hill race that requires the participants to ride their bikes back up to the next downhill stage. The climbs are not timed, but can be expected to be quite strenuous since you just sent it all the way down the hill/mountain you are having climb. ...otherwise known as a mountain bike ride. I think I've only made 4 total runs at HOL. During last year's EB I dabbed something loose and stupid at the very bottom...before it even gets hard. And then I proceeded to clean the whole thing. So maybe next time.
I think it's easier than no-dabbing DoubleDown...which I've probably made 50 or more runs at it, with a couple of 1-dab efforts being my best so far.
Last night I spent a few hours working in the greenbelt. If you want to see where, so we don’t duplicate efforts, it’s simply my name, Jackie Westbrook. Lots of people have pitched in proving once again that the local MTB community is a strong one. Makes me happy to be part of it.
Snail is mostly cleared. *Lines 1, 2, Highline, 5 and everything in ravine are cleared. *Line 3 is passable but you gotta weave around a few downed branches. *Climb Route that goes up the middle is still a disaster *Line 4 I never looked at so unknown By Friday it should all be cleared Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
