  1. This guy is a piece of shit. He parked by the 360 Greenbelt entrance for a week. Then when he left, there were mounds of trash and crap that he left behind. Everyone on Reddit thinks this car is sooooooo cool, but he's just a hoarder leaving shit all over the city.
  2. Yes, but to be safe, I recommend lightening your bike a bit so that you don't have any problems. Ditch the gears and you should be fine 😉
  3. Two pair of Sony bookshelf speakers. Will deliver to the R&I if needed
  4. Still working my way through the free Chimay. Takes the sting out of the Bears game:
  5. We picked up a stray. "wise beyond their years" was replaced with "old beyond their years." We thought that was a cute statement. This week we realized that meant "yeah, he's probably 12 or 13 but he has the body of a 15 year old."
  6. My dropper post is practically my wife on some trails.
  7. I don't get it. He told you that they stopped responding to him and you are still interested in going forward? Is this the same company that ghosted him?
  8. Full disclosure: I'm old enough to be your father. Gears and suspension are your friends as you get older.
  9. Also, I am available the week of the 7th through the 11th to be a tour guide (with the exception of Wednesday.) Tuesday needs to be the R&I, so bring your lights and your cooler.
  10. This feels like an epic BCGB ride is in order, just like the old days. A mix of some of the new stuff he has never seen and some of the old stuff that he misses. Pack a sandwich.
  11. Got a nicer bike for my wife and need to secure it. It does not need to be indestructible, just stop the crime of opportunity. Would be connected to wallboard, hopefully drilled into the stud. Any thoughts?
  12. Well if anyone else wants an old Garmin 510, let me know. Otherwise it goes to goodwill when I get back from bentonville.
  13. Zip tie a USB battery to your handlebar and you have all the power you will ever need. That is what I do when I turn my Garmin on and it says battery is <40%. Generally that means it will not make it for the full standard ride.
  14. AB World Headquarters sends mr to a lot of new trails so I have learned to love Trailforks on my garmin. Otherwise I could drop down on features.
  15. Yes, it will stay on longer. The downside is that *some* candle wax cloud attract dirt, dust, etc. Choose a really generic candle, actually the cheaper the better.
  16. I looked at the Explore 2 and it felt like it was really targeted at roadies and gravel riders more than mountain bikers. Do you use it with trail forks? Just watched the video on the trail forks site and it was very in-depth but did not even use the words trail forks, so I think I have my answers.
  17. If you want a Garmin 510 I have one for you. And once the Garmin 540 comes out I will probably have a 530 for you. Ping me if you are interested.
  18. It's COLLECTIBLE, easily worth $100. Or more.
  19. Honestly, let me tell you the reality (ok, kids, everyone be quiet while grandpa speaks)... Soap. Yep. I used to work at a shoe repair for many years, back when people actually bought nice shoes and fixed them. Some soap, rubbed on a zipper, will solve all your problems. If you do not have soap in your house, I cannot help you.
  20. I actually prefer the southern extension. Not a fan of riding through neighborhoods so being able to pop out from the tunnel and ride a paved trail trough undeveloped land is better than driving through a neighborhood. It's the north piece that sucks.
