  1. The one in Cedar Park is at Milburn Park on Cypress Creek Road. It's pretty small though.
  2. Now that's funny!....At least until your Shimano brakes develop the dreaded pump up wandering bite point😡
  3. My experience with 27.5 was on my hardtail which is 27.5+/29. I personally did not like the 27.5+ on the hardtail. Granted I was running 2.8 and later 3.0 at low pressures. I found that with the hardtail the tire pressure had to be spot on or the bike was squirrelly at low pressure and a bouncy house at higher pressure either way it was trying to kill me. I have no experience with 27.5 on a full squish but would think that a lower tire volume with longer travel for full squish would be better. The other factor that comes into play on full squish is that the higher the volume tire the more it messes with your suspension tune. I think it's really a personal preference to your riding style. I believe that smaller people my be more comfortable and able to get a better fit on 27.5 than on 29.
  4. Enough to be slick and slippery
  5. I didn't have any trouble getting the tire mounted. I had trouble getting the cushcore true inside the tire after mounting. Tire looked like the rim was taco'd.
  6. My brief experience with CushCore was a PITA. Relaced a wheel for a friend that had CushCore the biggest issue for me was getting the CushCore centered in the tire. Had to break the tire down multiple times to get it close to center. If it's not centered properly it causes the tire to wobble like a bent rim. Also wouldn't want to have to deal with it in a flat situation on the trail. I think if you run carbon wheels and race or do a lot of drops it has it's up sides but for me not worth the price for the hassle.
  7. Pearl Izumi are one the best fitting cycling shoes I've tried. I have a pair of the X Alp Summits for my gravel bike and I love them. I also recently went to Ride Concepts Livewires for flats and they're really comfortable and grip as good as 5-10's.
  8. A lot of that is probably due to more suspension.
  9. The sidewalls on the DHF and Aggressor are pretty stiff. I run 28psi rear and 20psi front at 235#.
  10. Minion DHF 2.5 front Aggressor 2.5 rear. Ran Shcwalbes for a long time no issues with flats or cut sidewalls but they just don't last that long.
  11. Check this guy out. I know him from when he was a tech at Maxwell Dodge. https://enigmacoatings.com
  12. You certainly are a rebel!😂
  13. Four pistons very nice! BTW take the stupid warning tags off the rotors makes you look like dork 😂 no one can save us from ourselves.
  14. Mort Subite 3rd and Congress. Gouden Carolus Cuvée Van Dekaiser Blauw. Fantastic beer! Come get some!
  15. From what I've heard the newer five tens aren't as durable as the older pre Adidas ones. I recently picked up a pair of Ride Concepts Livewires and like them a lot. They grip as well as five tens but are much more comfortable and they have an elastic lace retainer which is really nice to keep the laces tucked away. Got them at Jenson w/20% off for $80 shipped.
  16. Worked all day yesterday replacing five fence posts. Mud caked on shoes so bad. Definitely not ready.
  17. I believe so. There are quite a few unsanctioned lines showing up.
  18. Strava times are not accurate on PP. Strava times are about two minutes faster than actual time.
  19. I've been running 28 hole XM481's on DT hubs and Hope hubs. The only time I've broken a spoke is when it gets snagged on a rock. Tension might be too low.
  20. You have DT XM 481's on your bike don't you? Those are bulletproof wheels IMO. What are you looking to move to?
  21. That’s an easy one! Been building quite a few wheels lately.
  22. Maybe next time. We can block the trails for others with our oldness.😊
