Camelbak bladder repair

Recommended Posts

I crashed on my hip pack a few weeks ago and it tore a small hole right at the seam. Has anyone ever repaired one of these? I am having a hard time finding a replacement. It’s also not ver old. 9c4362c673b86602137ce4aab52e8283.jpg

Doubt it's worth attempting repair. Have you tried emailing camelbak directly? I've had good luck with that. Also, I'd imagine just about any hip pack bladder would work.

I had one pop at a seam, tried to see if my vacuum sealer would work, no dice. I wouldn't use any type of glue of chemical on it either. I just called the company and they sent me a new one free.

Giro has been really good at sending me free replacement parts, no questions asked.

IME, bike companies are extremely generous with these things. A simple email to Camelback with a photo of the tear will likely result in them sending you a new one hastily. they don't want you buying another hydration pack from a different company. your loyalty as a customer is worth far more to them than the cost of making and shipping a new product to you.
