Thanks for awesome time today was good to get out on the bike it’s been a couple weeks. Would definitely like to do it again sometime when I have a bit more time. Was really good though and cool to see the new stuff I haven’t seen. I think the church trails are better with a group than solo. JMO.

That's ok my rear brake squeals on occasion. Gonna need to be chill I haven't ridden in a few weeks with all the holiday stuff.

Spec's can only carry what the Texas liquor mob allows them to. The distributors basically decide what any liquor store carries. It's bizarre. I was talking to the beer guy at the Spec's at Arbor walk and he said that he doesn't order the beer anymore he just gets whatever they send him. I said you're a "glorified stock boy" and his reply was "yep". Spec's and Total wine used to carry quite a few Belgian ales that I liked and slowly they all started going away. I asked about getting a different style of beer from a brewery that they carried and was told that it was discontinued from the distributor. On Long Island where I'm from originally, we had beer distributors that were as big as the Spec's at Arbor walk, all they carried was beer. You could find just about any kind of beer at them. Liquor was an entirely different store.

I got a full face helmet from some guy I know😊. Also got an Osprey fanny pack and a set of Wolftooth pack pliers.

My wife has severe arthritis in both knees. She was told by her doctor to put off knee replacement for as long as she possibly can. He told her that knee replacement is something you only want to do once. If you are active and do it too young you can wear out the replacement and the second replacement is much harder and potentially dangerous due to possibility of infection and other complications. And BTW my wife swears by hot Yoga and I can tell you it has helped her tremendously.

Antares R3 large 152mm wide. It took me a long time to find an all day saddle especially for road riding where you spend a lot of time in a static seat position. I found the Fizik Chameleon and was immediately impressed by how comfortable it was. Well, when I built my Evil I tried to get that saddle but they no longer make it so I needed to find something similar. I decided to give the large Antares R3 a try and it turned out to be even better then the Chameleon was. So that is my go to for a saddle now. What I found out was that you need to try different style saddles even if you think it might not be what you're looking for. I also found that a wider flatter saddle was a better option than what is typically considered the norm. The Antares shell is a carbon/nylon composite that flexes giving good support with just enough flex to act as a cushion it has very minimal padding which I myself prefer. I cannot ride any of the WTB saddles they're all too narrow with too much padding and an odd kind of transition from flat to side too square. The Antares has been so good that even after being off the bike for long periods of time when I do ride again I have no discomfort. Now hopefully we all understand how subjective a saddle can be, not saying it will be your silver bullet but at least you can try it and if it doesn't work your not out $100-160 for a saddle.

What saddle are you riding? If it's a WTB it might be too narrow and putting pressure on the scar tissue area. Something wider might help. I'd let you take one of my Fizik saddles for a spin to see if that might help.

Saw this days ago. Inquired to price $2800 frame only, I think I'm out even as much as I like the bike. Geo is insane would be very stable in almost any situation. Could ride this thing for miles with no hands definitely not squirrelly. I sold my favorite road bike earlier this year, but still have my Cinelli Unica. The Cinelli can be a handful in certain situations, steep head angle short chain stays with a whole lot of toe overlap on front wheel. My Private Jake is pretty stable ,but I think the Chamios Hagar would be real easy to ride and a ton of fun. Not to mention it's just Evil c'mon a 66.6 head angle😎

He spun around like he was gonna roll backwards but used the pedals to start the backflip. Was just saying it was similar to something Semenuk did. 1:00 minute mark.

I saw this on my Instagram feed. That is pretty impressive. Semenuk did similar roll in to a drop but without the flip. He was using a free hub that allowed the bike to roll backwards without spinning the pedals.
