I also think Thumper, there is a 'warm up loop', but it is harder than the main trail. I have a scar on my elbow to prove it. Up top above the tower, it really isn't very well suited for bikes.

You heard the man, get you some! Phil's was primo today. I REALLY wanted to get up above treeline on the CT but you may just be able to see the San Juans in the background in the second photo and the healthy layer of recent snow. Figured I'd play it safe.

Close, the Navajo Rocks area of Moab. The trails were sweet, but I was totally blown away by the scenery, even after spending the previous days in Arches and Canyonlands. The shots I took were ok, but the back part of the loop was incredible. My phone battery was dying and the sun was setting so I had to keep moving.

Hazy IPA / National Park pairing #3. Today's features are Canyonlands National Park and Juicy Johnny's Hazy IPA from Moab Brewery. At 5%, more of a session IPA but quite tasty with a clean finish, while also remaining conducive to a ride later in the day. White Rim is visible down below.

100% - With EJ at $20 for 4 16-ozers vs $10 for 6-12 ozers, Fresh Kicks has it's place. Here is one in it's natural habitat yesterday. Hazy IPA for a hazy hike at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

Not sure, this all took place as I was riding by. I think she was saying she would pick it up on her "F'king way back". Even if she was, leaving trash around for people to have to look at (or maybe even pick up themselves) is shitty (literally).

Yeah, while I still think Fresh Kicks is solid, and it will remain near the top of the rotation, the side by side blind test goes to EJ. Definitely smoother with a better finish. It is clearly a premium beer and even with a premium price, it is worth it. The last EJ I had had been in the fridge for a couple months. These were both fresh. EJ for the win!

This. I do love me some Pinthouse Electric Jellyfish, probably has been my favorite juicy/hazy IPA and favorite beer overall. I have started to see it on shelves in the liquor store, but at around $20 for 4-16oz cans even at the restaurant, Fresh Kicks is certainly a much greater value and is my go to beer at present, I splurged and got some EJ recently and I'm not so sure now that Fresh Kicks isn't every bit as good. On tap I have paid $7-8 for a pint of EJ; that is a bit excessive. I have both in the fridge, I may do a blind taste test tonight. Either way, Fresh Kicks Kicks Ass!

I have done both of these routes but it has been probably 10 years. I'd check google maps for any potential road changes but I don't things have changed that much out there. Sorry for format, it is from a book I used to pull a lot of rides from. The rides never let me down unless the area has just grown too much, like the ride that went on a sketchy section of 1431 that we bailed on.
