  1. Prices are competitive. In fact, frame+fork for $3200 beats the shit out of most carbon options these days.
  2. Ok, no worries, Tree Kendall Magnet. See, it wasn't that hard.
  3. I heard that there's another ride in this same part of town at this same approximate time and some dude is bringing a BURRATI.
  4. I heard that there's another ride in this same part of town at this same approximate time and some dude is bringing STICKERS.
  5. Only one trail was panned. Like I said, Kennebec Pass was one of my best experiences ever on a bike, and that's our of Durango. Shuttled with Hermosa tours. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  6. Conditions were fine but a person making a decision for a large group of riders is wise to be conservative and has to make a decision about moving forward with enough time to allow participants to make alternative plans. You and I as individuals would have encountered good conditions but we also could have made a different decision at the moment we left for the ride had conditions worsened. So I respect Todd's decision.
  7. I have no desire to ride Hermosa after doing it once. It was really wet and the wetness wasn't redeemed by the ride. Phil's world over Hermosa any day, for me. But Kennebec was one of my best days in a bike ever. So good Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  8. I started a "novice linear progression" type weight lifting program with barbells in December and have had fun learning something new. Plus I'm fricken swole now bruh.
  9. yes, people invest some serious emotional wattage in these short sections yet Strava is doing its best to estimate the exact point that you started and finished and even when you actually followed the correct course, it can still be off in terms of it's start and end times since it is limited by the actual GPS data points that were recorded.
  10. Here is something that is realistic and towards the higher end of what a human can do, Tristan Uhl's. Even his GPS track looks a little off from the official track. Still, 18s was his time. I could see someone doing 13 or 14s. Not 5 or 7 though. My fastest was 26s and I always assume that these fast guys could double my pace on something like this.
  11. If you click on some of those faster times, you can see that the portion of the GPS route that is being given credit for this Strava segment is extremely short or actually runs perpendicular to the segment. Like, they actually rode past this climb on the Greenbelt or on the street and Strava said it was close enough. I recall vividly my best effort up that and I'm not sure I could come anywhere near it today! Here's an example of a "7s" effort:
  12. BUT FOR THE RECORD, I'm cool if they don't accept volunteer help with maintaining the safety and integrity of the ski lift...
  13. Flat Rock Ranch charges for access and still garners great volunteer support. They have a standard deal where you ride for free on the day that you work, you get a free day for so many hours and can earn a year pass for another level of volunteer work. I've hit enough hours to earn a year pass before. The Dreissesses are more like family than a business that I'm working with.
  14. Gotdurt, understanding that you might give zero effs about weight, I'd like to request a frame weight measurement when this beast comes in. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  15. I quite enjoyed hiking there even though it uses copious amounts of cedar stair steps to deal with the steepness and poorly routed design. Not a lot of places in town with this amount of elevation change and nice scenery. But it is theirs to control and they don't want the riff raff in there.
  16. I've gone there with my kids to hike. We were always respectful and limited ourselves to only a small fire pit and one single cabrito. Plus we always cleaned up most of the pinata tailings. Not cool river place, not cool. My abuela is going to miss our time camping there.
  17. We should check residency at all CoA parks and charge River Place residents 10 bucks to use our stuff. Douches.
  18. Me likey. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  19. I tried to get that by you but you caught it... Yeah, I've been drooling over the pics in FB. How long did it take to go from starting your conversation to ordering to the build being complete? Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  20. DAYUM Mr CatLady! But perhaps it's a badge of honor to be the first, of likely many, to visit the local ER after an incident there!
