  2. Just a heads up... Spider is running a pretty awesome deal on Fridays through the end of March. Up to 4 people can ride for $75. https://www.facebook.com/events/571529423573761/

  3. This. I am sure it was because the DBag neighbor's dog was always barking whenever someone went through there.

  5. I'm normally not into color coordinating, but that is really clean.

  7. I went out about an hour earlier and only rode for an hour and 15 min. Despite the humidity, it was a great day to be out. Just a stark reminder of what's coming in a couple of months.

  9. I just now realize how much trail we lost. Previously I had thought it was a small section. I also just realized it's not that close to those houses. Ughh...

  10. When I had a Blur I just had BSS do the replacement, only had to pay for the labor, not the parts.

  11. Yes! I'm definitely not used to it. At what time did you ride? I was there 12:45 to 3:30 or so. Stopped at picnic to take a conf call then rode DD and 1/4 backwards.

  12. I talked with the Wilco Parks staff about this park a few years back (see names Rugger posted on page 144 about the Brushy Creek 5-O closure thread). I was told in no uncertain terms that Wilco wanted NO trails in that area. They said we could ride the existing double track becasue they already exist but no other areas. They wanted ZERO single track or new trails. I was told that Wilco was counting that area as preserve area (think Wilco version of BCP). They were not interested in allowing the double track to be maintained either. (clearing face slappers and such). In my opinion - making new trails, riding, Strava'ing, Trail Fork'ing etc in this area my endanger other trails in that area. Like Brushy Creek Singletrack (aka Deception). I suggest riding what we already enjoy and leaving this area alone. But I no longer have a stake in this area so it is somebody else's problem.

  13. Yeah, last time I went out there in the summer they were pretty overgrown. Probably not as bad in the winter, though. I usually ride it on my cross bike when I'm up there. Nice little section of trails to add in to a bigger road/gravel/singletrack ride.
