  1. Depends how you look at it. This filter removes the categories so you just see all discussions. Sometimes it is really easy not to think about what category you are in when you get used to it.

  2. 100% - With EJ at $20 for 4 16-ozers vs $10 for 6-12 ozers, Fresh Kicks has it's place. Here is one in it's natural habitat yesterday. Hazy IPA for a hazy hike at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

  3. Some pics from an overnight trip to Telluride. Wish I was able ride more but it worked out as the smoke rolled; we needed to head back

  4. https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/austin-2019-kona-cinder-cone/7193076583.html https://konaworld.com/archive/2019/cinder_cone.cfm Not a bad deal. I'd offer $850-$900 and see if they take it. We basically bought the same frame with different components for my youngest.

  5. *Most* of it dries out fairly quickly, there are a few sections that can get pretty soupy and might take some extra time. If it stops raining today it will be fine by Sunday.

  6. Thanks for all the helpful comments and suggestions. Looks like I will be visiting local bike shops very soon to check out what's left in their inventory for me to blow up my budget. Please don't tell my wife.

  8. If you run tubeless and use the plugs, check them. Mine have been sitting in a hot garage and were basically unusable. I fought forever to get one in my tire. Since they’re cheap I ordered a fresh set. Had pulled them out of my camelback, thank god this was at home in a clean garage and not out not a dusty trail. oh, also, add more Stan’s tomorrow

  9. I wish I had a little more time to do a bigger writeup. But my youngest is 11 and we've been on this same track as everyone else for a while now. My little dude has shown a quality aptitude for riding so I've tried to keep him more in the "sweet spot' for bike size and fit. He's currently 4'10" and is fitting just right on an XS 26" Giant XTC that I've custom built with some pretty nice stuff: SID fork, Stan's crest wheel set, 1x 10 Sram with XT disc brakes. The step up from 25" to 26" was really good for him and I think he's prolly 1 yr away from a move up to 27.5". This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago on Monarch Crest Trail in CO standing at about 12k ft.

  10. My favorite trails in the country actually. There's all kinds of great riding that's assessable from the campground at the state park, just to the southwest, or check out the Puzzler race loop if you're on the east side of the mountain.

  11. The 2 sections of Double Down are what I end up riding most on my evening rides when I only have a short amount of time to be out. They are closest to my house as I approach from the west, but are also the trail sections I like the most. Just personal preference, but then again, I also 'like' Thumper, not that I am any good at riding it or have been In a while. Just must be a case of self torture tendencies. 🙂
