  1. If you ordered from ChainReaction, that is where they're located. Bought a set of tires from there. Pretty decent price. Shipping took...a while. When it got here, shipping box looked like it was losing competitor in a Lucha Libre match. Glad I did not order anything delicate or prone to smash damage.
  2. Used to live, more or less, across the street from there. First over the bars was there (and 2nd and 3rd) on the little anthills by the golf course (gone long time now.) Also encounter my first, and so far only, "trap"...someone had buried a board with nails in some leaves. Rode right over it. This was just north of Bandera Rd., but south of the 'sandtrap' (not sure if that's still a thing. Probably not, as this was 21 years ago.
  3. I need to re-read your "layers" post, and take notes. I have a few things, but nothing really comprehensive. Really don't want to give up on riding because it's TOO cold (cough:<50F:cough)
  4. Nostalgia can be strong, for some. Doesn't matter if something is "worth" something on a market of some sort. The value should lie within a personal desire, not how much you can sell it for on ebay.
  5. Ok, now that I know what this is, I want both versions. I guess the IPA version is orange, vs this DIPA green.
  6. Nice! You going to Red Horn's Darkside of the Wall 12/6/19?
  7. Can't you just use a bucket, a pump, and a bottle of white vinegar, or a solution of citric acid? Seems tankless heater is like a big coffee machine, but instead of making coffee, you take a shower (or whatever.) Seems vinegar or a citric acid solution would be considerably cheaper.
  8. Damn. Was hoping to ride 1/4 tonight.
  9. Have you never watched Mad Men? They'd walk into the office, grab a bottle of a sidecart, pour a glass for whomever was present, then commence meeting
  10. Heh...did this a few weeks back at Brushy. Only it was shoes I forgot...
  11. Needs to be OUTSIDE the thread, so we don't have to click on actual thread, then click ignore.
  12. I'm rather fond of George Lynch (as well as Dug Pinnick and Ray Luzier) trio: KXM
  13. Bought a 6er of these: 2 Gulden Draak, 2 Gulden draak 9000, 2 whiskey barrel aged. They were very good.
  14. Let me fix that: How to clean your brakes
  15. Just make the switch. I had always thought it might've been a bit messy and painful, but it wasn't bad at all. I DID have CO2 cartridges on hand, which makes it really easy to seat the tires: Pull off tire/tube; clean rim (or just wipe with a rag you find on garage floor); install stem; mount tubeless tire; use high-pressure to seat tire (should actually hold air as is); let air out; remove valve core; use sealant syringe to add sealant; install valve core, pump to desired pressure.
  16. IN, as well. Cookies or bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos? What's your choice?
  17. Uhm, I take it it won't hold a real rifle, judging from the pictures. Need to see an AR on there. Also, is the Walmart bike needed, or will it fit on a normal bike?
  18. Current grips are ODI Rufians...a bit worn, but like the firmness. Got a new-ish set of ODI Rogue I'll probably pull off another bike, since those haven't been used (old TREK that needs a seat)
  19. Rain arrived much earlier than they said, even at 5pm. Said it wouldn't be here until after midnight...hope y'all got at least some R&I.
  20. 'bout time I should help, ridden it enough...what time?
  21. Dunno if it was a recent change, but I know I've seen kids out there before on BMX type bikes. Not sure if it was allowed then or not, but they've been there. Been a bit less traffic there, lately. I assume maybe because school is in.
  22. Well, I for one hope it doesn't go there. I was schooled on appropriate tire brand and have corrected my issue (mostly; still have a Hans Dampf up front, but that's fine) with a Maxxis out back. Lesson learned.
  23. At 5pm, it was 85F...so I went for a nice ride at Brushy.
