  8. looking for a frame to put my 26" wheels and 100mm non-tapered fork on. preferably a medium, maybe a large. let me know what you got.

  10. had a great ride, thanks for the tips. https://www.strava.com/activities/2227141637 we stayed in a tepee at terlingua basecamp, which was an amazing experience and very close to desert sports. Already looking forward to going back and riding all the airport loops and the epic.
  11. Suburban Ninja is dry. its good to go.
  12. i'm looking for a 3-4 hour ride that's accessible from Terlingua. Any recommendations? I will be renting from Desert Sport. i'd love to do the epic. but i'm not going to have enough time this trip.
  13. i had the problem with my 2016 guide RSCs (same basic design as RS). That being said, SRAM has fixed the issue with a new plunger design. i don't think you'll see it with new brakes as long as they aren't old stock.
  14. Can someone please do one for BCGB? i know the main trail, its all the side stuff that i need help with.
  15. i believe its Suburban Ninja https://caltopo.com/m/6DN1
  16. they have rentals at spider, might be a good place to start. i rode my 5010 there with no issue. Spider is not particularly rough and no big drops, so I would just ride your czar there, as long you drop your seat. it is steep and loose in places, so head tube angle and tire choice is more of a concern.
  17. Might be obvious, but Walnut has great family riding. started taking the kids there as soon as they were on 24". the boardwalk downtown is great, and you can connect it to the new shoal creek trail which is fun.
  18. here a great reference map: https://caltopo.com/m/6DN1
  19. nice balcones! how big is this drop 10 ft? does it have a name yet?
  20. YT Demo APR 20 - 21, 2019 ROLLING CIRCUS @ SPIDER MOUNTAIN BURNET, TX JEFFSY, CAPRA, TUES
  21. Thunderbird Lodge is the property that Spider Mountain sits on. and yes, spider mountain needs to get its act together on the marketing front. A webpage would maybe be helpful in 2019.
  22. Its on Trailforks: https://www.trailforks.com/region/spider-mountain-bike-park-27035/
