RedRider3141
I came across this while watch bike restoration videos on YouTube. I need/want to paint my daughters' HotRock 24. This stuff seems pretty easy to use with minimal prep compared to even other rattle can jobs. Anyone ever use it? https://spraybike.us/pages/how-to-use-spray-bike Example use: Edited November 26, 2020 by RedRider3141 Posted too quickly

RedRider3141
Just put an order in directly from their site. Here goes nothing! FYI, I ordered: 2X Color Smoothing Putty (this frame has some dings) Clear Coat

TheX
Forks are done, waiting for temps to be a little higher for the frame. Primer is already shot.

So you strip to bare or how are you tackling this? There are some great and fun techniques I've found online with this company. The forks came from Lauf with just lacquer. Their products are unlike anything I've ever used, and I have shot a LOT of paint.

TheX
It is bizarre paint, follow the instructions. It is VERY powdery, you have to shoot it literally 2" from the surface. The clear shoots like lacquer with too much thinner in it. Looks like blushing when it's going on, but clears up immediately.

Chief
If you're spraying anything in your garage you need to move or cover anything you don't want overspray on. I've painted enough stuff in my garage that the door handle now has a textured surface😂 BTW frame looks good. How do you think it will hold up?
