  1. Anyone have a favorite feature at Brushy? Mine has to be the left drop at the beginning of the north end of picnic. It’s not the most difficult drop, but is exciting because you enter pointing down, drop for a few feet and then land going downhill which just shoots you down the trail. Makes me smile every time.

  2. Just rode a couple of hours and only ran into one other biker on Deception (quite a few joggers though). Had to pass quite a few folks on Peddler's but that didn't take away from the enjoyment in the slightest. The continuous improvements on Peddler's never cease to amaze me. Felt so good to be back out on the trail after a 5-week absence.

  3. I like both on that section but prefer the other one, you get so much speed it is like a roller coaster

  4. Hey G Fisher! Long time no see. Hope you are stringing up those SATN piano wires for our boy as we speak. You should take RA on some Jester repeats...if he survives he is allowed one post per weak. Intentional mispelling, check.

  6. I don't know about y'all, but this time of year I'm always ready for some zydeco and crawdads! Used to head across the lake from Atascocita every year around this time to hit the Zydeco Festival in Crosby.

  14. That was pretty fun! Weather was perfect. Route was hard to follow because of my sketchy technology setup, but with zero pressure to be fast, I just paced myself with other riders so I would not miss a turn. Hills in Buecher State Park are no joke! My riding partner had an u fixable flat and I had to leave him behind. Some kind stranger gave him a ride back to RHR, so I didn't have to go looking for him in no-cell-coverage land. Cluck N Burger was a good choice for a food vendor.

  18. You're missing the point, go back to my first post. What does 2000' have to do with anything? Just about all of them. Same problem and category. By public shaming, and if that doesn't work, maybe a baseball bat or hefty cedar limb. I realize that you'll continue to argue no matter what, but I'm pretty sure everyone else gets my point, if they haven't already moved on.

  20. The infection rate is worse than coronavirus at this point. If only the admin could inoculate threads against certain accounts. I follow this thread to know what is going on and now it is devolving and is less about the trail.

  21. FyI. Rode SN today and the creek crossing that has never had a bridge has been washed out a bit. Instead of a easily navigable crossing it is now about a 12" plus drop and maybe 2' across. Not horrid but damn surprising. Easily doable if you knew it was now changed. Long live the Ninja. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
