  1. My Kali helmet has a rail on the top to mount a light or camera. I like it so much that I just bought another Kali to replace it. Seems like only some versions have it for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I think it’s a one and done type thing. I’ll get his info. I’ve seen it on a new Yeti and it looks really good. Protection is TBD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I know a guy that can put a ceramic coat on your frame for a decent price. It looks good and offers the same type of protection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sad to hear this but glad the MTB community was part of trying to help instead of just riding by yelling Strava. I’ve stopped to help road riders before and they were genuinely surprised. AB - I think this should land you some good karma. Those guys doing CPR are awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What's crazy about this statement is that when you look at endurance racing in the SS class, the really fast dudes all seem over 50. They just destroy the field sometimes. I love it.
  6. This is gold right here. Mojo is back.
  7. I think it's the combination of hooker's anus and hub deep water that keep things running smoothly. Well played!
  8. "I hope someone is taking a good picture of this so they can give me shit for the next 20 years."
  9. I think it was the dropper post that caused it.
  10. What could possibly be occupying space that is more important than another bike? Bikes are good for you (unless you're Antonio on a road bike). They make you smile every time you feel that rush turning the pedals. They can be handed down and still be just as useful tomorrow as today. I think that Mr. JB needs to take a critical look at what he's occupying that space with right now. If he wants more bikes (of course), space shouldn't be what stops him from getting them.
  11. Damn Antonio! Glad you’re okay and sorry to hear about your bike. Stick with the MTB. The trees don’t move like the cars. Heal up brother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That’s a big one! I always see those little lizards with lines running down their sides shooting off the trail but they are generally no bigger than your palm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don’t think there is any money being made by Albert for creating and hosting this forum so I’m not about to complain. He does it because he’s a member of the MTB community and saw a gap that the death of Mojo created. I say that we cut him some slack unless you’re willing to volunteer to moderate. A thankless job if there ever was one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ouch. Glad we can all laugh about it now! Well payed Cody. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I thought Thumper but there is no warm-up loop. You're just tossed into the belly of the beast once you pass the transmission tower.
  16. Someone is getting fired over at Garmin. Again.
  17. That's a great interview Seth. You come off as the real deal and I love the fact that you don't filter your story. Your passion for what you do comes through.
  18. This is 100% true on many levels. Not only will you get faster, your technical skills will improve. Watching the rider in front of you attack a feature completely different than your intended route gives you confidence to try it. Also, you sometimes see the ‘wrong’ line which is just as important. Generally most groups set an expectation of what they are going to do when you start. If they are out to hammer, they won’t wait very long for anyone. If it’s a chill ride, they might regroup at certain places and shoot the shit. Find a fast group on a slow day and try to hang. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Maybe it was Kevin Bacon and he was pretending he was on a tractor like "Flash Dance"? You were in a game of chicken and didn't even know it! Seriously though, I've seen some serious stupidity come about as the result of searching for a meaningless PR on a virtual competition. Sorry it happened.
  20. I have a Rockshock Yari on my 29+ and it seems to work fine. Those big cushy tires take so much of the hit out of things that I'm not sure the fork has to work as hard as it normally would. If you like the fork and can get the tool that cheap, I guess it's not that big of a deal. I've paid that just for a bearing puller on a Yeti frame and didn't complain.
  21. So much this. If they make the fork bulletproof and not require service (marzochi DJ fork style) then they can weld it shut. Otherwise, there is no excuse to design the product to not allow the user to service. That’s crap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I want to believe that for every turd that messes up a trail like this there exists 10 riders that love and appreciate every square inch of the trails these builders create. Eventually, I think that even the most dense idiot will figure out that they are damaging something that they didn’t create and that’s not cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Damnit Mack_turtle...I have made this my Friday afternoon decompression from work youtube diversion. Sucked when their dog died. Between this and watching Matt Jones and Brendan Fairclough build dirt jumps, I waste a lot of time on YouTube. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
