    CYBRTRK

That's exactly what I was thinking. Like it was designed by a Jetson's cartoonist who drives an El Camino. As ugly as I think it is, it's also pretty badass.
  2. What do you feel a reasonable price would be? If it's well made, $35 seems pretty fair to me.
  3. I'm not a big stout guy, but this one sounds delicious with chocolate, coffee, and some spice. Was it all that you hoped it would be?
  4. You're definitely not the only one around here who has sex with strangers for sock money.
  5. I just email Giro today because I lost one of the screws that attached the visor to the helmet. They are sending a replacement plus some new "courtesy" pads. Watch out, world. My moment is now.
  6. Hard to believe he was able to sit on that goldmine for 20 years.
  7. You let your wife park in the bike room? *whip cracking noise*
  8. Once (before I switched to homebrew) I had just added the last of a bottle of Stan's then immediate cut the sidewall. I managed to transfer the Stans out of the old tire to the new tire without spilling a drop. I was pretty proud of myself.
  9. I've never had negative results with any of it as far as sealing leaks on the trail. *knocks on wood* I am a cheap-ass, but that isn't even the whole story. It's nice to just make a shitload of it and have it on hand instead of having to go to the shop and buy a $20 bottle every few months.
  10. I've been using it for years without any trouble and have probably never made the exact same batch twice. I had to look up the old Mojo thread (http://www.bikemojo.com/speak/14-austin-voodoo/95010-homemade-tubeless-sealant.html) This was the recipe that I originally got, but it seems like a lot of water: 16oz Latex mold builder 16oz Slime tubeless 16oz RV antifreeze 32oz water Then this one that doesn't use any water: 16oz mold builder 16oz slime 32 rv anti freeze Add in Kyle's above with even more slime and still no water. I've never used straight ammonia. I've played with the proportions and added water and/or antifreeze directly to the tire when the sealant seems too thick. I've used glitter, and I've used no glitter. I think that there is no general consensus on a recipe because it all works. It's not like baking a cake where your proportions need to be exact. Just mix the 3 main ingredients together and add more antifreeze or water until you have that nice creamy consistency.
  11. Just to bring it back around to the original topic, how many of y'all are running some sort of suspension on a gravel bike?
  12. It was a link to "a very long article, from a gay person's POV". Just google "gay POV". I bet it will pop right up.
  13. Kevlar? No thanks. For me, it's real Zebra hide or nothing.
  14. I've always been under the assumption that most cheater lines at CP are cut by the motos. It's a lot harder to carry a dirt bike up a huge ledge than a mountain bike.
  15. Is it one of the new Sierra's with the 132 function tailgate?
  16. I've run ESI's for years. I tried to go back to the Specialized lock-ons that came on my bike, but that only lasted one ride. ESI's last for a really long time if you don't care that the ends look like they were chewed up by a beaver. That's not the part that contacts your hands anyway. That and those plastic plugs only last one ride. I use wine corks instead. Ghetto, yes, but I don't really care. If that stuff does bother you, Red Monkey Klampz may work better (never tried them personally). https://www.jensonusa.com/Red-Monkey-Klampz-Lock-on-Grips-Orange-W-Black-Clamps?pt_source=googleads&pt_medium=cpc&pt_campaign=shopping_us&pt_keyword=&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_5rtBRDxARIsAJfxvYCmeQSkRygaP--ad5oGVK7thG_BIrT2tqXAS8wXKgsqCzMBtcxod6YaArw5EALw_wcB I've dealt with a lot of hand/wrist pain and numbness. Having a job where I'm on a computer all day sure doesn't help. A grip can only go so far. I've tried all kinds of things like crazy sweepy bars and Ergon grips. The two things that have really help me are brake lever reach and angle. Rotate the brake lever down so that your pointer finger (while resting on the lever) is in a straight line with your forearm. (i.e. no bend in the wrist) Another thing that has helped me is to adjust the reach or throw of the brake lever as close to the bar as possible. It puts excess strain on your hand to reach out with one finger while maintaining a deathgrip with the other four. The closer you get to making a fist around the bar, the better for your hands.
