Brushy Creek (monthly) Coffee Outside
Cafeend replied to bestbike85's topic in Mountain Biking Discussion
So like a coffee picnic? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Man, I've been wanting to shoot you a text and see what's up. Sorry to hear. My wife suffered a fractured leg in two places and also in the same incident her tendons tore off the bone. She did require surgery , because of the bone break but also because of the tendon. She rarely feels it anymore and suffers no pain. I can text you later the name of her doctor if you want. Anyways, good luck and if you anything dont be shy. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I used to live in Oak Knoll back in the early 70's when that hood was dirt roads and few homes. I distinctly recall being in the kitchen while my mom went hysterical bat shit crazy crying looking out the back window that faced the woods. The yard was "moving" the road next to us was "moving" there was an army of tarantulas crawling across. It was amazing to see. To my kid mind it was so cool,, but my mom being the fun governor she was would not let me outside. If i remember correct this happened a couple times before they started to build houses and pave the roads. Never saw anything like that since.

Went out this AM . Bailed on Picnic. Went to East entrance of 1/4 and bailed. Rode over to Snow White and bailed. So rode the concrete instead. Every trail left my tires caked but didnt exactly rut the trail but caked me up bad enough to have to turn around Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Why dont you swap the 740s over and see how you like that? You can then determine if you need to go 760 or the 740 might be fine. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I was over a the soccer fields this AM around 10. It was on and off sprinkling and had standing water around. The path was rather soft. That was then and this is now but I would be surprised if it was good

I was super sad to come downstairs at 6:30 AM today and see it had rained a good bit. I needed a good ride this AM. Maybe I'll wait till tonight and ride in the dark so HB can't yell at me ... I kid. Or I'll ride the Hike n Bike or go elsewhere. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

That does need work but damn if that flowy fast roller drop going down and into the wavey right back onto Picnic is not awesome, what is? It is evolving into one of my favorite spots. It's like 50 feet of fast fun Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Owner of a sexy, grey, lifted Lexus GX 470 that rides Brushy

I am curious about these updates and FW updates... Hypothetically.. if a company like Tesla goes out of business.. where does that leave owners like your self who may be dependent on the software running their cars? Will that fall to a cunning outside company to create updates or mods? I'd be nervous I spent a sum of cash on a good car only to have it not be able to be serviced in the future. Is that possible? You looked beautiful That was some nice video Alex did. I have tried to describe this area to a buddy of mine in the UK, he now understands what I mean by rock after watching that.

I rode there once before they opened and J.Work would shuttle up in his truck in exchange for working on the trail. The gnarly rocky stuff was fine as that was what I was accustomed to. It was the washed out machined trails that killed me. I still dont know how I ended up on the dirt in a split second. It hurt and after awhile I couldn't even load my bike back into his truck. I think the difference though is speed right? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

We saw Rugger out yesterday and he made eye contact and I got a head nod. Felt like in high school when the hot chick looked at you,,, It was like seeing a unicorn in the wild

When we were out there Saturday working a family went by and they had a little girl , maybe 3rd or 4th grade. She rode by us and said real loud and happy "this is the best trail EVER!!" Somehow hearing her and seeing the smiles of her family mean alot to me as a dad and Honeybadger and KOM should be real proud. A trail that can make a little grom like her smile and a crusty old rider smile then that's cool. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
