  6. the best part of the 1x experience is getting the clutch on the rear derailleur. which mostly eliminates chain slap. i was pretty much just using 1x9 for trail rides anyway. (always staying in the middle ring)

  18. i'm looking for a 3-4 hour ride that's accessible from Terlingua. Any recommendations? I will be renting from Desert Sport. i'd love to do the epic. but i'm not going to have enough time this trip.
  19. i had the problem with my 2016 guide RSCs (same basic design as RS). That being said, SRAM has fixed the issue with a new plunger design. i don't think you'll see it with new brakes as long as they aren't old stock.
