I guess riding is out for the day. Temps are dropping.

down south, the rain turned to sleet this morning, and it's slowly turning into fluffy snow. I grew up with actual snow and there's a difference.

Heavy rain this morning; snowing steadily in north Austin for the last two hours.

I could take one more day of this and then I'm ready for sprinter -- that Texas spring + winter thing that happens between now and mid-March.

I grew up in real snow, and do NOT miss it.

I don't know if it's real or not, but whatever it is, it's now covering even the streets here in South Austin.

Still snowing here. I'm really surprised at how much is on the ground.

Our Austin datacenter is on generator power right now. 30,000 without power due to snow and down branches.

Haha, most places the weaker branches are removed naturally. Here they're given a trophy and a hug..

This neighborhood retention field quickly became the local sledding spot.

At least 3-4" in CP/Leander. There's gonna be a fair bit of trail cleanup after this, trees down all over the place from the wet, heavy snow!
