  3. I picked up this trio for a trip to the lake last weekend. *There were 6 of each plus plenty of Lone Stars. Lucky I made it home with enough to stage the pic.

  6. Cowabunga bitches!! Pineapple Express in the Makawao Forest on Maui. 1000 vertical feet of perfectly sculpted berms, sick ass table tops, and a few heart-stopping wood feature to transition drops. Great way to take a day off from the ocean.

  7. Had some goofy ass bitch at walnut tell me her dog wasn’t aggressive AFTER the little bastard bit my shoe as I was riding up the concrete path. She scooped it up and hauled ass as I screamed a few impossible sexual positions at her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. A bike that black might be a potential target for theft ... Zaphod's attention however was elsewhere. His attention was riveted on the ship standing next to Hotblack Desiato's limo. His mouths hung open. "That," he said, "that ... is really bad for the eyes ..." Ford looked. He too stood astonished. It was a ship of classic, simple design, like a flattened salmon, twenty yards long, very clean, very sleek. There was just one remarkable thing about it. "It's so ... black!" said Ford Prefect, "you can hardly make out its shape ... light just seems to fall into it!" Zaphod said nothing. He had simply fallen in love. The blackness of it was so extreme that it was almost impossible to tell how close you were standing to it. "Your eyes just slide off it ..." said Ford in wonder. It was an emotional moment. He bit his lip. Zaphod moved forward to it, slowly, like a man possessed - or more accurately like a man who wanted to possess. His hand reached out to stroke it. His hand stopped. His hand reached out to stroke it again. His hand stopped again. "Come and feel the surface," he said in a hushed voice. Ford put his hand out to feel it. His hand stopped. "You ... you can't ..." he said. "See?" said Zaphod, "it's just totally frictionless. This must be one mother of a mover ..." He turned to look at Ford seriously. At least, one of his heads did - the other stayed gazing in awe at the ship. "What do you reckon, Ford?" he said. "You mean ... er ..." Ford looked over his shoulder. "You mean stroll off with it? You think we should?" "No." "Nor do I." "But we're going to, aren't we?" "How can we not?"

  11. In August & September, you can fly from Austin to Kalispell, MT for under $500 roundtrip since it's considered out of season. It's a quick 6 hour flight with a stop in Denver on United. There's a ton of really good trails around. In particular, the Whitefish Bike Retreat is pretty awesome. You can camp and ride some short but really fun flowing trails on the property. It also connects to the Whitefish Trail which has 20+ miles of single track. There's 25 miles of downhill at Whitefish Bike Park on Big Mountain. I think it's really good riding for place not many Austinites would think of going since at first glance it appears difficult to get to.

  13. Ok, I'll play along too.... Got back last week from a 10 day trip to CO. We called it a "greatest hits" ride. I'll let you decide. Early on we hit up Monarch Crest trail Then we went over to CB for some 401. Next up we were in Telluride for the annual Yeti Tribe gathering. Riding in the high alpine aspens. Then for a change of pace we ended up in Fruita riding some of the Kokopelli trail stuff

  22. As a side bar comment...I've always found it curious (for myself) that I ride the same trail (CP/Emma Long) on both a MTB and a MX bike. When I'm there on the MX, I'm geared up like a football player with knee-shin, elbow, chest protection, boots, long sleeves and FF helmet. But when I go out there to ride my MTB, I'm out there only riding in spandex, and XC helmet and my silky smooth shaved legs. -CJB
