Now you've done it. You never ever talk about not getting a flat because when you do you'll get one your next ride. 1

Back in the tube days it was a regular occurrence, I don't miss that shit one bit.

The bike shop and my buddies who got me into it back in 2011 convinced me it was the only way to go.
AntonioGG
Even with tubeless I had 3 flats in one lap of LGT once. Slashed tire then with a tube 2 tubes pinch flatted. Sucks going back to high pressures after getting used to tubeless. I had the same problem on the road. I still ride with tubes on the road bike. I had 3 flats on Parmer (probably 10+ years ago when it had less traffic).

The Tip
I really had my fingers crossed when the TABC came up for Sunset Review. Such a worthless and redundant agency. But they squeaked by and still continue.
ATXZJ
They all have their hands down each others pants. It's f@cking ridiculous how they do business here.

quixoft
On the bright side, new bike day was last Wednesday. Sadly that seems to have caused an endless week of rain and I already bent a rotor this past weekend by falling off skinny wood features I suck at. I don't have a rotor tool but a crescent wrench and a shop towel worked just fine. Good as new!
AustinBike
A rubber mallet and a flat workbench also works, if you have patience.
notyal
On the bright side, several months ago I accidentally bought deodorant without antiperspirant. Caring less about pit stains these days, I’m finally putting my mistake to use. Yeah, I’m really digging deep.

I suppose if you need it, you need it, but I stopped using anti-perspirant probably 10 years ago, and only use deodorant. Shirts no longer have stiff-clothed stains in the pits, and I feel better about not stuffing skin pores with metal particles.

I just embrace the wet pits in the summer.

RidingAgain
This stuff works for me. Too much alcohol in the regular deodorants. https://schmidts.com/?_ga=2.214956375.159476993.1589992399-1018687886.1589992399&_gac=1.220450476.1589992399.EAIaIQobChMIrJTMme_C6QIV0cDACh2fPwapEAQYAyABEgJCvfD_BwE
